Decided to replace worn parts to stop oil leak. Other than gaskets, and oil seal, should I replace the shaft and bushing? If so, would someone kindly list part #'s for me. Went to JD parts catalog, but not sure what all I need. Thanks in advance.-----Bert

Well for a start Bert it's a poor design, and you won't know for sure till you get in there, some times the shaft is worn where it works on the bushing, I am not sure if that shaft is still available, I would consider having it built up and turned down,,the bushing and seal are available,,and it's a bigger job than it looks to get to it, the PTO needs removed from the back, the rockshaft removed the shaft in question is the PTO drive hub, it needs removed but first the little lub pump deeds removed so the shaft will come out, at this point you will know more about the shaft wear.. i will pull the picture up and post it for you..

I'm guessing you're referring to a JD 60 LPTO
