7810 pto light on dash

Just bought a 7810 and the pto light is flashing on the dash. I pulled the fuse in the fuse panel and put it in diagnostics and came up with the following codes in the HCU 01 category:

027 which is calibration incomplete
052 which is hitch draft sensor fault

I climbed underneath the 3pt where the wires go in and pulled out the plug with the wires. The connection behind it is still connected good. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated before I go buy a $200 sensor. Don't see how to get to sensor either because all I saw were wires and no sensor inside. Thanks in advance. Kevin

It's usually safe to use a digital ohm meter and test between the sensors pins. Every pin should be connected to another pin somewhere .

You want me to unhook the sensor and check ohms between the 3 different pins?

Hitch Draft Sensor fail is a common problem on those. Replace the sensor and calibrate with weight on the hitch.
