SpeeCo wide front on 3020

I have a SpeeCo wide front on my 3020 that one of the wheel bearings froze up the other day while mowing pasture. Does anyone know of a source for replacement bearing kits or will John Deere bearing kits fit? Thanks for any help.

Don't know for sure, but I believe at least some wide-front kits came with bare spindles and you swapped on the hubs from your narrow front. Give the DEERE parts a try.

(Are the bearing cups and cones too mangled to see the part numbers?)

I have a Speeco front end on an A John Deere. Speeco used their own hubs and bearings. TX Jim is correct. They run a standard Timkin bearing and are available at any bearing supply house. Those front ends were sold Through Tractor Supply Company and parts are still available through them. I have replaced plenty of wheel bearings in mine and if I were you, I would by 2 sets and keep one on hand. We seemed to run a bearing out every summer when we were haying.

Schwartz is who you're thinking of.
You used the hubs from the tricycle you replaced.
