Wico X on a 1935 A

My 1935 Deere A came with a Fairbanks RV2a mag. Will there be any issues with using a Wico X on it? Seems like i remember reading somewhere that the there was an issue with the timing impulse. Any input appreciated.

I think you need to have the long lug impulse coupling.

Hi Joe, I m using a Wico X on my rag of a 35A (toy) and it works fine. I think it is a short lug. I haven t seen your mag. Could you post a photo? Good luck. VH

[u:6b100a02f0]In my experience[/u:6b100a02f0] the biggest issue will be what to do with all the free time you now have because you will no longer spend so much of it spinning the flywheel trying to get it to start.
