I have a 4030 that when you try to put it in gear it grind, but not all the time. It seems like the clutch is not engaging so you can put it in gear. Also, sometimes when your in the field
if you put the clutch in, it won"t stop until you tap the brakes. What can cause this?? The clutch does not slip when your pulling...Please Help...tractor pull is coming up soon!

You mean disengaging.
Needs to be split.
