I'm working on a 1970 powershift and I am curious what color
the paint should be behind the front lights on the fenders (non
cab tractor). Should it be black or green? Thanks for any
replys.

Black!! The contrast of black behind the lights really makes your paint job pop. I always ignore the correct police and shoot mine gloss black. For me, it's just easier to clear the whole fender than leaving it taped off and flat. Green in that area looks tacky.

Below is a pic of my 68 powershift side console that I painted about 10 years ago.

Another thing to consider if you decide to paint them black is that the original black extended forward from just under the light panel to the front lip of the fender. So if you are going for the highest detail, you might do this.

Can't say on the 4020 but the 630 was Black from the factory. I had an original and when I had it repainted I made sure the painter knew to keep it Black.
