Neighbor has a john deere 2555, 2wd showing 2489 hr's, 16x9x30 long bar short bar, rears with average thread. Good fronts, has 6 front weights, two sets of remotes, good sheet metal, seat, has canopy, good fenders, drawbar and three point with top link. Injection pump and injectors just rebuilt, engine runs strong, steering is smooth, good brakes, 8 spd trans. ser # is Xl02555A710188X. He wants to get rid of it, told me to find out what its worth, I wouldn't mind having it myself. Anybody have an idea what this tractor would be worth?

Neighbor bought one last year for $10,500. Average or above condition. Sounds like yours may be worth a little more. Maybe 11 or 12000. Another neighbor bought a nice 2755 for 9500. I thought that was a deal.
