Behlen Power Steering

Anyone know where a Behlen Power Steering reservoir is attached to a John Deere A? Any experience with this unit? I'm wondering how hard my JD A will steer after attaching a 45 loader. Thanks.

It will be mounted right above the distributor on a
flat plate with a mounting fastened to the governor
housing Do a google search and there is 1 in
images. on a G

Also with the powersteering it will steer very easy
with a loader on it.

Thanks for the reply. Does the reservoir end up being on the side of the hoods then when bolted to governor housing? And the pump goes between distributor and governor? Did you have to make bracket to connect steering motor to steering post? Do you think having the Behlen power steering is worth buying one? Several questions, thanks.

The brackets came with but they had to be kinda
rebuilt for different applications. They are a very
good unit and well worth it. some other brands work
but not as powerful as the behlen. the tank will be
right beside the hood above the distributor driven
pump.
