What kinda job is replacing the governor case gasket on a 45 B?

Like Ben, I am needing to do the same task. My '41B leaks badly at the governor housing. A systematic procedure would be very helpful.

Not sure if you need to get the hood of or not. Open the crankcase cover and disconnect the oil line to governor. Loosen the fan shaft mount near the radiator. Pay attention where the timing to your mag is and lift up the housing to replace the gasket. That should get you started. Ron Mn.
