'41 Unstyled A Slant Dash

Hey all, been a while since I have been posting in here. Been pretty understaffed at work, and things have been hectic the last coupe of months. Figured I would tough base with you all and give you some updates on the A that I think I can officially name "Half Breed".... I had a couple of small hiccups, but all seems to be cleared up.

1) The seeping head gasket seems to be good now that I have retorqued and also for good measure put in some JB Stop Leak.

2) Carb Issues: On the DLTX53 I was having a pretty good drip come from the bottom of the bowl where the bowl nut contacts - even with a new gasket kit. Took it apart to look at it and when reassembling I overtightened the nut and broke the threaded portion of the neck off. Luckily, a neighbor had a spare DLTX72 off of his B that needed a float and a gasket kit, so I was able to pick that up and give it an overhaul. Also found that the float I had in the 53 was leaking in two spots, so that may be a clue as to why it was running so-so.

3) I finally got around to making the gauge cluster. I guess I could still consider this a "slant dash" since I mounted the cluster at an angle? I hope you all enjoy, and are having a great summer thus far.

I will have both tractors at the Nowthen Threshing Show, in Nowthen, MN - August 15/16/17.
