Carb question

I cracked the casting on the bowl of my "A" carb fiddling around trying to get my "B" started. (By the way, the "B" carb worked just fine on the "A".)

The casting on the bowl is DLT13. I found somebody with a DLT7, but I'm wondering if the fit is right, and will the rebuild kit be different from the 13?

Sometimes it's cheaper to pay someone to work on your stuff.
If the kit is not the same get another kit.
On your B...It wouldn't start after you washed it? Why would you think it's the carb.
More likely a moisture problem.
Spray ether in your distributor (with ign off) and blow it dry. Same with plugs. Remove them and spray them with ether then dry.
A trick on starting a D is they put some carb cleaner in the petcocks. D petcocks are upside down with a little cup on them.
