JD 500 Industrials

I worked for a construction company in the mid 70's to early 80's. They had 4 JD 500 Industrials and I am thinking one of them was a Power Shift, but that was long ago and the company has been out of business since the late 80's.

I purchased one of the JD 500 gas tractors, synchro shift with a loader back then. It has a concrete block on the back for weight, and no 3 point or PTO.
Just wondering if anyone knows how many of the 500's were made and if they are collectable at all. Thanks a lot - Bob

Yes powershift trans was an option on a 500 ind tractor.

i dont know the numbers but i have a 500A with front end loader and backhoe attachment. It is a powershift with a cab no less

I ran a 500 gas powershift on a dairy in 89-91. It too had no 3pt or PTO. Just a loader. It had a big counterweight from a Case on the back. It had the front rims widened to run some ag style flotation tires on the front.
