JD Research: Code ab2234

This message is message to A GURU or anyone that can provide information on John Deere Styled A Special Equipment codes.

I had Two Cylinder Club do research on my AW based on serial # 632211. Special equipment is listed as: aa4073 "for use with front wheel load equalizer for "A" (#58400).

Does anyone have any knowledge of what these codes mean ... or a source that can used as a reference?

Chris, the codes mean whatever is printed after them on the research document. Now that description you gave about the "load equalizer"/aa4073 sure is open for interpretation. My guess would be that they might mean "roll-o-matic" and that it might be heavy duty front wheels. Almost all "special equipment codes" are simply the wheel equipment codes.
I have very few codes documented on A's, because there is no production register available for them. Any codes I accumulate come from folks like you. I don't know what ab2234 is, but it should be listed on the document after the number and is likely the rear wheel equipment. If you have a way to post the document, or type it verbatim, I'll tell you whatever else there is to tell, if I can add anything.
Another option is to contact Two-Cylinder and ask them to elaborate on the aa4073 code, if they can. Jack Cherry could probably provide some further insight on that one.
