Additives in ULSD

I was just reading on another board about adding two cycle oil or some other additive to the new low sulfur diesel in their older tractors.
Does anyone on this board do this?

It's not necessary in my area. Suppliers here add 2% soybean oil for lubricity. Some places add more. All diesel here has it, whether dyed (farm) diesel or clear road diesel. B2 gets the lubricity back where it needs to be. In the locations that don't use it an additive would be necessary. Mike

Interestingly enough I was reading a study that listed biodiesel at the top, above regular ULSD with any type of additive.

IF it is good bio that has been refined twice to get the impurities out but not much of that is around. I had a tractor that went bad and I do NOT use it anymore. Also, I do not buy OTR fuel from cetrain stations in the winter and add Power Service or CenPeCo to my trucks.
