4630 clunk

Why does my 4630 with synchrorange transmission clunk under the cab when I get on one brake for a hard turn? Happens more turning one way than the other but I don't remember which. Brakes stop the tractor well.

Maybe check for a loose axle wedge or wheel hold on clamps first.

Gear lash in the axel's planetary reduction gears? You could be reversing the direction of torque on the braking axle when you use one brake on a hard turn.

Check the rubber cab mounts also.
