-5 boss is -05 ORB or SAE J1926-1 Straight Thread O-Ring Boss. It is a standard fluid coupling design. It is based off a 1/2-20 thread with an o-ring seal. Don't try to connect pipe thread to any of the test ports, you'll end up damaging the thread and have to repair or replace the aluminum housing.

There is a file you can download here that will help identify fluid couplings.

I don't have a picture but on the clutch regulating valve housing as it is call there are 4 pressure test ports. Starting at the top port and working clockwise there are: PTO Brake, Lube pressure, Clutch pressure and PTO Clutch pressure.

I agree with MikeJM on check the easiest things 1st. Here's a parts photo of the clutch operating valve that MikeJM referred to. To check stand-by just plug a 5000# gauge into rear breakaway coupler and move control lever.

I plugged gauge into scv and got around 2100# pressure. On 1 of the 4 ports on the 2 scv's would hold that. Not sure how they are supposed to act. I loosened filter housing and turned tracor over and had lots of oil come out. i took hose loose that goes to front pump and had good oil flow also. I went to put tractor back under shed and 2 speed was working. Still no power steering.

Although dialing up stand-by pressure to 2250-2350 psi may help cycle time it won't help this tractors hyd problem. Gauge leaking off on 1 breakaway coupler indicates a poppet valve in scv isn't seating/sealing.

Jim, My main problem right now is my steering. Do you think filters in the "brick" could be the problem?

As txjim pointed out. If the scv is passing oil from the HP side back to the pump when no hydraulic load is in operation. That is a serious failure that can not be bandaged around .

i'm not sure about testing scv's. On right hand scv I could plug into right side port and move lever. Pressure would go up to around 2100 and hold. On left port of right side scv I could mover lever opposite direction and it would go to 2100 and then fall once lever went back to neutral position. Same way on left hand scv but pressure slowly leaked down on right port.
