on a two bottom mounted plow the beam that goes under tractor mounts to the u under belly does anyone know what is used to bolt that to u bracket..thanks

I don't fully understand your question.
The long tounge on the plow goes thru the U under the tractor, not bolted to it.
It acts as a draft to the plow to either make it go in deeper or shallow it out.
Are you sure the U bracket is hooked up correctly?

oh ok i thought it would have to have something keep it from moving around, thank you..

You want the beam to be able to move around on that U bracket. When plowing it will find a happy spot to sit on its own. I had tried using an eye bolt at one point to keep the beam to one side of the U bracket and that did not make any noticable difference in plowing performance. I could only plow previous worked soil with my 2 bottom and do a clean job. Even with the trip mechanism set at a tight setting I could not get far with the 2 bottom in sod without it tripping on me.
