Howdy all, need your help. We have the neighbor's old F145 semi mounted plow that we borrowed many years ago. We fixed it up to use behind the 730's. It's 4-14". It has the rear gauge wheel. It (still) needs shares and could use shins, too. The neighbor never put a price on it and just said, "I know where it's at if I ever need it". Well, bad news, he passed away a few months ago (only 68). So we feel we should just pay his estate (his son mainly).
So, it's 4-14" been stored outside most of it's life until we borrowed it. We got all the zerks to take grease and fixed piddly stuff so we could use it. So what do you think is fair value?
$500.00? More? We gave $750.00 for a 5-16" pull plow a few years ago and $450.00 for an identical 5-16" pull plow a few years before that.
