4010 pump revisted again!

Changed out the pumps as stated earlier and now
the crank case has a lot of fuel in it it
seems! What should I do? Or what did I do
wrong? Thanks!

You rolled the "umbrella seal" when you put the pump onto the shaft.
1 seal holds fuel into the pump and the other keeps oil out of the pump.
OR the brass pilot tube is worn.. if you can feel or see a groove cut in it.. its bad and needs to be replaced.

Getting that shaft in with new umbrella seals is not easy to do without flipping one of them over. It can be done without the special tool if you're careful. Put some motor-oil on it (the seal facing in) and try to tuck it in with a feeler gauge or small screwdriver and you ease it in. The correct tool makes it easier. If there is a ridge worn in the bushing it will be even harder to do.
