I picked up a horndraulic loader for my 45 A. Fella I bought from said it came off the same. Is there any manuals..or pictures showing how these are set up on the deeres? I"m kind of stuck here

Google the loader. Might find something. Why not connect it like the previous owner did??? Does it have a seperate hydraulic pump and a seperate oil tank ?? If not, that might be the best option as the powertrol will not have enough oil capacity to operate loader to its full intended use.

We didn't see how they had it set up. We were going to get a seperate oil tank for it..first problem is seeing of we have everything to begin with. Just not sure how it will attavk to the A tractor itself. Another puzzle.Lol

Hmmm, many years ago....like about 1946, an uncle of mine got a Horn hydraulic loader for his unstyled 1937 B and I believe he used the built in hydraulic system in the B that operated the rock shaft that lifted the mounted cultivators. The loader came with little oil tank that plumbed into the filler neck of the tractor's system. All in all considering the B's small size it didn't work too bad.....saved a lot of wear and tear on the 5 tine dung fork operators...of which I sometimes had been one, filling his model H John Deere tractor spreader from the manure pile accumulated outside the cow barn. This was the first manure loader I ever saw. The cylinders and elevating cable apparatus mounted to the front frame sides on the B and the booms to the rear axle housings. The forks, or bucket, mounted over-center, dumped when tripped by a hand lever and re-latched when lowered to the ground.

If the loader I'm thinking about is the right one.
The loader arms mount to the rear axle with brackets, then two triangle shaped brackets mount on the frame rails just ahead of the valve cover. A shaft across the bottom holds the hydraulic lift lift cylinders.

Got it figured out. Its missing the 2 mounting brackets for loader arms for rear axel and mid frame. Now to find some...is going to be a whole different story.

I have one mounted on 37 a . if you will e mail me i'll do my best to show youhow I mounted mine.very simple to do! loader works very well!
