You can change the pick up tube and use your 4630 oil pan, put the 4630 water pump, water manifold on the 466 engine, change the dip stick tube,, there are a few little things to swap out but they all will fit nice..

THANKS how about the intake and ex can i leave them on and get a different elbow how much hp loss by not having the inner cooler

Just change the muffler elbow, you can change the muffler and elbow in one piece, which is good because the mufflers grow fast to the elbows, the manifolds are the same,, it is really a simple swap and it works out good..

An un-educated guess would be you'll see similar performance. If I remember correctly, a 4450 and a 4630 are both around 140-150 hp in the Nebraska test. Comparing one used engine to another, 30 or so years after each left Waterloo, it is hard to say.

The 466 should have better torque, too.

hi tim got both engines out and side by side oil pump on 466 is the newer style so now what pikeup tube also tach drive is not there and the hex drive for charge pum oh yah 4 hole flywheel 6hole crank

Well it's good that you have a crank driven oil pump..check and see how well the 46 oil pan matches up to the sump screen,, I'm thinking it will. and on the 4/6 bolt crank the 4 bolt will match up, as for the pump drive get a new one and install it in the 466 crank,, you can't hardly get them out with out ruining them,, your still gonna work out okay..call me if you want 740-743-1085
