are suspension seats worth it

i have a new to me john Deere 950 which has the base style seat and i was wondering if it would be worth it to add a factory suspension kit to it any and all opinions greatly also any good suspension seat ideas besides a stock suspension seat appreciated

Hi I have a blue tractor here I cut grass with it has no suspension seat. I swapped tractor for a day mowing with a customers unit, I fixed and wanted to test it. That had suspension seat fitted. Next time I see a good deal somewhere and they got blue color in stock mines getting changed. If you want a bad back and feel every bump in your spine don't fit the suspension seat!, would be my answer.

To be honest i would get a price from the green guys, the price they give for a genuine JD seat won't include the tractor "wink" then shop around everybody else for a better deal. If thats an older tractor it don't need a $500 plus fancy cloth seat fitting, especially if it has no cab and gets wet the odd time.
