I took the plug wires off my A to paint it. With out going to a lot of trouble to figure it out can someone tell me which wire goes to the upper port on the distributer cap. Cyl 1 or Cyl 2. Thanks.

Cyl # 1 goes to the top terminal. "normally"

That is unless someone has it hooked up the other way from installing the dist. differently. Either way they will run ok as long as the dist. is set up for that way.

Just try to start it,if it goes your ok if not just swap the wires at the distributer.Ron
