John Deere sign value (pics )

Picked up this John Deere dealer sign at an auction today and was wondering if anyone could tell me it's value. I know it is not that old as the sticker on one side says it was made in 1983. It is 4'x 4' and lighted on the inside and other than the small cracked spot shown in the photo is in nice condition. Don't think it is worth a lot but it would look nice outside someone's building full of John Deere's as I really don't have any where to hang it. Searched the internet just a little but didn't see one like it for sale. Any insight would be appreciated

Question:
Why do you have it?

I am sure it is worth Zero to an IH dealer.
I would give you $50 for it......cause I have no use for it. (I do have a Deere Compact diesel myself)

At my old house, (in the city) 20 years ago an old timer had his garage set up like an old gas station with the old pumps (just for decoration) and a Union 76 sign too....All looked neat.
Now if I was to have a large barn out back I would have use for that sign and make it like an old Deere dealer.

I asked the question because I was trying to find the value of it and to see if it was worth more than I paid for it. Simple as that. I don't have much experience with JD signs or collectibles. Just ask a question that's all

It is a neat sign, but it is damaged. Someone who's gonna nail it to a barn won't care, but a nitpicky collector will.

Advertising is so hard to nail down as far as value. At the sale you bought it at, it must have been cheap, or you wouldn't own it. If you took it to another sale, it might go even cheaper or go for a pile of money if two people decide they HAVE to have it. Anybody who answers here isn't gonna be able to give you an "accurate" price because there isn't one.

To me, I MIGHT bid $20 on it at a sale, but I don't put a lot of value in advertising. I'm sure I'd be outbid.
