Interntional Injector gasket

So many many moons ago when my dad was a young man and farming full time, he had a few 40 series john deeres and on the injectors he would need to replace the seals or gaskets on them, well it so happened that the local dealer also had international tractors and sold him the gaskets from an international which are a big improvement over the john deere ones. the international ones are a metal ring on the outside and a hard plastic or neoprene on the inside. I have seen them and my dad had a couple left when I needed to replace one on mine now, I need more and of course no one at the local international/case dealer has a clue wondering if any "old timers" remember what I am talking about and could lead me down a road to find them again.

Thank you
Daniel

Very familiar with those gaskets as it was a running change on the IH Farmall 806 tractors with Roosa Master pumps. They do a real good job but I just looked them up on Messicks site, part number 670207C1 and they list them as $9.66 each. That is hard to believe but never know. Also, the torque on the bolts using those washers is much less and only about 15 ft lbs. I do have the service bulletin where they released them that I could look up the torque but pretty sure that is real close.

Stanadyne part # 18829 is what you are looking for. IH used them on the stepped banjo lines and some flat banjo lines, but a steel outer washer was used to limit the crush on the flat banjo. If the steel was left off the bolt would bottom on the head, seizing the rotor and breaking the drive shaft. I use the 18829 on the stepped lines only as they are getting expensive to use where not needed. Copper 11354, or what I have the best luck with is CAV 5936 332C mild steel on the flat banjo lines. This washer will crush a bit like copper as they are not hardened like the steel 16225 Stanadyne

Thanks everyone I looked up the 670207C1 part and it looks like it is just a little bit bigger. My Dad managed to find some and I was able to measure it and they are just barely 1/2. These washers would go on the injector to the engine right?

I don't know the outer dimension but the inside would be 3/8th inch. IH used it on pump end of the injection line on 806. Teflon inner with steel outer.
