This morning I put a rebuilt carb and cleaned gas tank back on my 630. Amazingly after all of the work that I did with the carb and tank it popped off right away. Unfortunately when I was priming the carb I noticed that I was leaking some gas right where the carb inlet body connects to the carb.
I did not take that inlet body off the carb when I cleaned and rebuilt it. I did try to remove it but it never wanted to unscrew. I thought I had retightened it after that attempt, but obviously not.
My question is what would be inside that body that would be causing a leak? Is that inlet body actually meant to be removed from the carb?
