After months of searching & almost buying another
color decided on this 3255 4wd with just over
5K hours.. Have had a few issues in the 1st 20
hours of our operating it. With batteries & fuel
filters. Sounds & runs very well & just plays
with 4 bottom 18" plows. Hopefully will last
us many years. We still have the 2750 4wd with
a tired engine at 14K hours.. This is what He
looks Like, Hope we didn't error....

Seems like a good choice to me. The 55's are super reliable. Change all the fluids, inspect everything and make some general adjustments according the tech manual and you're all set. That tractor should last you a lifetime.

We had one. Bought it brand new and took it to over 3,000 hrs before trading. Spent most of its life haying and feeding livestock. The weak point on those tractors is the dry clutch. Ours was starting to slip. Other then that, great tractor.

We bought a 2955 brand new and had it until I had an auction - had 7500 hours on it - SGB and MFWD - excellent tractor - should have bought the 3255 for more horses on the forage harvester!!!
