Hope someone can help
I was doing some spaying the other day when I thought I noticed the engine change sound slightly. I kept my ear on it and about an hour lately it started misfiring badly with a bit of a knock when I dropped the revs and plenty of white smoke. drove it back to shed. I noticed the engine oil level slightly higher than it was before. Dropped the drain from the fuel tank, some rust, no water. changed fuel filter, didn"t look too bad. removed and cleaned all fuel lines and lift pump, all good. cylinder 3 and 6 cold to touch at exhaust. lifted valve cover with engine running, all looked to be working. pulled and switched injectors 5 and 6, no change. it still starts easily. I did have full cylinder relinner kit, pistons, big end bearings replaced about 150 hours ago. I guess its the injector pump? Any help would be very much appreciated.
