threads broke off bottom of 620 carb

I have a 620 that has set for a few years tore into the carb to give it a good cleaning and when I took the nut of the bottom holding the fuel bowl on the threads broke apart at the bottom of them. How can I fix this if even possible? Tried jb weld and it did not hold the threads together when putting the bowl and nut back on. Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

I've seen them fixed, but best to leave to a professional.

I'll let the rest of the crew here vote on who the best might be.

Thanks for the input. Have been researching the fix since I posted this and have found a shop near me that does these and am going to give them a call tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

Mr. John Shelby is the finest there is when it comes to carburetor repair. He did a 630 carb stem repair for me. His approach is different from others because he machines the stem which will look different than original (but only with the bowl off the carb) but will last forever.

He gives you personalized service as well (some many other shops will say they provide but won't deliver).

His repair shop is clean enough to eat off the floor; in other words John is meticulous in his work to get it right!
