Is there any production records on these? How many were built, serial # 1st and last open station p/shift built? Thanks

My Brothers have one,, and we were wondering the same thing, theirs is exceptionally nice..

I used to think the 50 series were the last factory open station tractors, but now believe the 7200-7600 series were also available that way. Here is photo of my 1983 JD 4050 factory open station.

Just in the past year I have people inquiring about open station 30/40/50 series and have actually only found a few that came from factory without at least the four post which is easily removed just didn't come that way. There were some with 2 post w/ canopy and that looks good just still added noise.I don't know if powershift numbers are available or not as the 20 series are still my favorites but the newer ones are gaining momentum with collectors and users.Anything low houred and in excellent original original condition brings good money.Bought a low houred 4320 and there was a 4430 with 1500 hours sitting in the shed not for sale.
