John Deere 12 gauge

I just bought a old 12 gauge and the only markings are
JD 864 is this a John Deere shotgun,it's 46 inches long

Apparently it was a freebie when you bought a tractor. Is the stock is traditional green and yellow? & does it have John Deere ingravings in the steel?

No one can seem to ID it probably going to sell it I have other interests
