Glow Plugs - 6.404T block

I was wondering if there is ANYWHERE on a 4620 engine that could be drilled for a glow plug or maifold heater - anywhere on manifold? would there be any point using the port where the ether start pipe goes in? thanks in advance guys

As txjim said nothing beats a block heater and starting a prewarmed engine.
I there is no electricity there are the following type of LP coolant heater .

thanks guys, any idea where in the intake this could fit? yes have block heater and works well but it is not practical all the time for a few reaosns, i would rather some sort of glow plug / intake heater vs sniff of ether

Maybe it's just me but I've never noticed those intake heaters helping much with cold starting. My Case 580CK has one. Also used them in Allis Chalmers, SAME and Ford diesels. Even when working perfect they don't seem to accomplish much. The wet ones work better then the dry ones thought. "Wet" ones have fuel hooked up to them. SAME and Ford sometimes have wet ones. My 1992 Dodge diesel truck has one too. I've started a few times at 20 degrees F without using it and the truck started just the same. More smoke - yes.
