12 volt conversion help.

I have a new to me model 60 that I would like to convert to 12 volt negative ground. Anyone have a wiring diagram, parts list, advice, or opinions please. Thanks in advance.

If you want to go from positive ground to negative ground, just reverse your battery, re-polarize your voltage regulator by momentary shorting the armature terminal to the positive terminal and reversing the wires on your amp gauge..

don't forget to switch the wires at the coil. The - post of coil would now get hooked to the dist.

They came 12 volt Positive ground...

I was really meaning installing a 12 volt alternator, negative grounding, a single 12 volt battery, and possibly solid state ignition. Sorry for the confusion; typing and thinking at the same time is just too much multi-tasking.

You don't polarize the regulator. He is going with an alternator anyway.

I have a delco 10si sigle wire on my 60 one wire from alt. to amp gauge and then to the battery
