I posted a few days ago about my friend getting a 6030 with a bad engine. Well, yesterday it showed up at my place.

Looks pretty good 'cept the hood is a bit banged up.

LOTS of work ahead!

What a BEAST, though!

We don't know. The pan has been off and put back on and we were told it has spun bearings, but we can't get a straight answer as to rod or main, or both.

As I posted before, I have a decent 619 shortblock.

He wants to run a Haybuster vertical mixer with it, so it's gonna take SOME snort!

BUST it

He STOLE it for $500.00, from his F-I-L.

"Course the other unit he got from the F-I-L has cost him a bit of money over the years!

IDK?

Need to find that out if he is intending to pull the Haybuster with it.

We've had 2 5020s over the years, and I always thought the PTO was the most reliable part!

The one we still have does a lot of running a forage blower, bagger, grain vac, etc. The clutch running in oil makes a big difference towards longevity compared to say a 4020.

Not sure how that clutch holds up to 200 hp+ of a 6030, though.

LOL, wanna compare "turds"? Only sad thing is, I paid a LOT more....tractor was only slightly misrepresented....small tick....for the 3 mins it ran then locked up...New reman motor ahead. Now its again the price I paid for the tractor.
