4320 powershift ????

I don"t understand where some people get the idea that JD made a 4320 with the powershift trans. The few that have shown up on the internet, have all had the build code of a 4020 along with the serial #"s. So clearly its the back half of a 4020. All 4320"s build code prefix was T613, so if there was a so called 4320 powershift, the beginning of the serial number would have to have the correct prefix. All of the ones that have been posted on the internet have the prefix of T213 which is a 4020, and they were 1970 model years. 4320 was made in 1971 & 1972. Serial #"s don"t lie, Am I missing something here?

I get several calls in regard to the 4320 P.S. question and my answer is always correct which is 0.People are sure there has to be an answer to the number of 3020/4020 P.S. made but this remains unanswerable.I think its funny in the 20 series there is a premium for P.S. 69/72s and in the 30/40 most prefer guads.In the 50/55 series 15sp P.S.are hot.The rarest of all JDs are the first and last[can only be two] or 1 of Hi Crop gases1010/2520/3020/and one side counsel 3020.I would guess the Keller collection would have some of these

Well I'm sure some unscrupulous person will start repopping serial tags for those so you can stamp your own numbers in them just like they have the 2 cylinders.
