Unstyled AR Governor

I have a 1945 AR with a poorly functioning governor. I removed the governor and when I inspected it I found a lot of sluge. I washed it out with diesel fuel and a paint brush. I am thinking that the governor isn't oiling properly as the rest of the motor is pretty clean. I disassembled the governor and I looked for the oil hole behind where the oil pressure line connects but found none. Is this tractor suppose to have a oil hole or do they lubricate the governor another way

Thanks for the quick response. I did like you said and found the hole. It was plugged. I was looking straight in for the hole. No wonder I couldn't find it.
