we run 15-30 Rotella oil in the 68 1020 diesel , Id say Walmart valvoline oil 10-30 0r 10-40 both are on sale for $12 for 5 quart jugs at Walmart

Unless it has changed I would not reccomend valvoline oil for anything. It was notorous for creating sludge.

15-40 is all I use.

The oil that created sludge was Pennzoil, parafin based. It was not for people who didn't change oil often. Also Quaker State.
