Do you need to order all of these pieces or just the main cover(4)? The middle pipe (6) is $216!!

The middle section would funtion as an extension of the ported cover so you could use the original size transmission filter. Options would include running the shorter, older transmission filter with just the ported cover (you would then need a shorter bolt, too), adding a return fitting the your original filter cannister, or routing the return somewhere else. Mike

You could also tee into one of these return line fittings cheaper than ported filter cover. Also then wouldn't have to contend with a hose in the way when changing hyd filter.

Ya,that looks like a better deal. May just buy 2
Fasse valves and run the loader from the two boxes.
Customer needs 3 outlets but that will cost way more
upfront in parts, then there is bout 4hrs of labor.
He doesn't need to use the loader when he is
swathing or baling, so he can just switch both Fasse
valves to no. 2 ports

You can run a power beyond block that fits in behind the SCV, get your pressure and return ports there, will work out good,,better than running through the SCV's and cheaper than a Fasse valve..

(quoted from post at 20:18:03 04/14/14) Wouldn't I have to run a joystick then?

Once you swap it over to a joystick with a dedicated supply and return line. You will wonder why anyone tries to operate a loader boom and bucket from the scv's.

I agree with both of you, but I am looking at cost for the customer. That said, I used to run our 740 loader with the scv levers until I bought a 4445 with a joystick already installed. Running the loader with the console levers for me was an easy one hand operation
I can buy 2 Fasse valves for less than $1000 and just mount the switches in the cab. Can't find a factory SGB joystick for sale, and a CROSS joystick, cables, fittings and the adapters will cost over $1000 plus a lost more labor.

I just looked at the Surplus Center site and a valve can be had for around $250, a joystick controller for about $120-150, adaptors for the cables for the stick are about $33 each. Cables aren't too expensive, either. You could have a really nice setup for $500-600. Mike
