I tried today to lift my disc (10" eversman) with a 2 inch cylinder. Couldn"t lift the disc all the way to travel position. What exactly is the pressure on this system and is there a way to turn it up?
I know a 2 inch cylinder is smaller than the standard 3 inch implment cylinder but my math says a 2" cylinder at 900 PSI should lift 2800 lbs. I can just barely pick the whole disc up with my loader (unloaded it off a trailer this way). I know from lifting tote sized feed bags that the loader will lift at least 2400 lbs. So the disc has got to be around 2500-2800 lbs. Is the pressure a lot less than 900 PSI??
