one that escaped the JD re-tin, SN 8400004, those over 8400200 got the new style. Thanks to all the YT"rs that helped me through this.

I've always wanted one of these with the scraper. What is the little canister on the front next to the grille on the right hand side?
 
Is that the top of an LP tank just below the steering wheel. Never seen a critter like this... what can you share about her history, etc?

It's a cover made out of Unattanium
 
That hump from that angle is the dash cover, re attached picture, story book going to come out about it as all the involves get contacted so far very interesting.
 
after serial number 8400200 they came back out like this, I was told JD offered the re-tin job for $500 at the dealer, there is no record as to how many came back in for it. This picture is out of the big book that came with it.

It's a cover over the top of the power steering cylinder.
