JD-70 Parts Seem $$

Why do JD-70 parts seem more expensive than other JD 2-cylinder tractors? I have rebuilt several other 2-cylinders and everything for a 70 is $$$. Are the 70's not a popular tractor? Just curious.

depends on what part of the u.s. your in alot and if people will pay asking prices,parts are just like the tractors you see on here some are priced way high some are a good price so they will sell.Best to shop differant people first. One guy on here ask 250 for one side panel for a 730 lp I got one for 100 in perfic condition.

there were only about 30000 70s made that includes diesel and PPane
