John Deere 2355 brakes

Both brakes work perfectly if the pedals are locked. If unlocked right brake works good, left brake pedal goes to floor. Took valve off and replaced all seals and o-rings, bleed the system and still had the problem. JD said it was a check valve. There are two, one per side. I replaced the valve on the left side. Still have the problem. JD is of no help. Any ideas ?? Thanks.

It sounds like the equalizer valve is leaking past, they are on the under side of the valve, some times just streching the spring will make it work..

Ditto what Tim stated. It's a bad equalizer valve causing the problem but It's been so long since I've seen valve repaired I can't remember it's parts key #4 or #12.

They or it ? Is there just a plug on the bottom of the valve with a spring and ball ? If I understand correctly I just need to pull it out, clean it, stretch the spring and put it back ?

Yes plugs are in the bottom of valve housing. Check the balls & seats for pitting.
