B Dust Shield Help

Hello Everyone

I had to replace the dust shield behind the belt pulley due to rust. The 7 bolts holding it in place are drilled through the head for safety wire. I went to Deere today and they do not have the bolts in stock and they only had 3 available nation wide. Any suggestions on how to fix this? The old bolts are rusted beyond use.

Any help is appreciated.

Go to the hardware store and buy bolts and drill a hole in the head of each one, Then thread the wire through all of them and tie

I got the correct bolts you need, off a B parts tractor $1 each, save ya a lot of drillin! give me a call sometime 507-437-6588

Get new bolts at the hardware store and install them with locktite. The wire justs keeps them from backing out, locktite will do the same. You will not need the lead washers either because the locktie will seal the threads.

Make sure you center it to the pulley.
