I took a running unstyled G with working late model clutch that needed the crank and rods replaced. They needed to be replaced because I let the guys at my church use it this last spring to plow some sweet corn ground for the youth and over one weekend we received 8 inches of rain as to witch the boys did not cover the exhaust and lo and behold the crankcase filled with water and not realizing that the old JD doesn't like watered down oil, the continued to plow with it till it started nocking. Anyway, back to my issue. I replaced the crank and rods with late model parts along with new main bearings. I put everything back together and now my clutch won't disengage. I tightened up the clutch brake to no avail. I pulled the clutch pulley back off thinking I may have a disk in the wrong place but everything looks right. I did notice that the back side of the clutch dogs are now rubbing up against the side of the tractor witch tells me that when I pull my lever back to disengage, the clutch is going to far to the left. Does any of this make sense? What am I missing????
