How do you replace the fuel shut off rod on the hand throttle on a 4020 john deere.

You pull the Steering wheel and remove the top collar on the column (a 3/8" bolt holds it in place), then you can get to the inner snap ring, when you go back together put the plastic bushing and spring in place, then the little snap ring,, then push it all to let the rod come through to start the knob on.
