late john deere B radiator filler neck replacement

Is the <201000 radiator neck soldered on or just pressed? How do I remove and replace it?

They are a press fit. I always removed them with a dull cold chisel. Cave it in toward center, then pry it out with a pinch bar. Install with a block of wood, driving it in as straight as possible. Hope this helps you.

Those late models are a press fit over the outside of the casting.
Easy enough to split and pry off.
When going back on I put some sealer on them just to make sure it does not leak there.

Removed very easily by splitting with a chisel. Thanks guys! No have to get those dang broke/froken studs out.
