iirc there was a factory update or recall for the clutch on those tractors . Was the tractor updated ?

Check with your dealer about a clutch program but I'd guess there is no program. To be priced competitively, these tractors were designed with the lower cost, easily replaced, dry clutch, like almost of the competition.
