Looking at a 210 14' disk. Are they any weak points or cons to this model and any positives to using them? What is a reasonable price renge for a set in good condition?

Thank you!

IMHO the 210 is a secondary tillage tool. If soil is very hard they tend to jump from side to side mostly due to the double offset configuration. I liked my 310 better than the 210 but one needed to be careful around fences or other obstacles even with the 310

I believe the 210/215 disc were made in the early 70s and weren't very heavy compared to todays standards.I sold a 215 15 ft. that had set outside[little use] but was excellent otherwise for $750

210 is a mid-wt disc, good for secondary tillage, 1xx is even lighter, 3xx is heavier. Bought one new in "77, with cone blades. They pull harder than concave blades, but do more soil action. I"m not a fan of discing, compared to field cultivating, which is prevalent here. Disc is only for cutting sod after plowing, then FC. I sold my 210 for $700, use a White 281 offset since, that can do primary tillage. Rocks are hard on the cast standards on a 210- too much fixing time.

Wish I could find a good set for $700. The set I looked at sold at auction in western NY last Saturday for $2300. I thought that was way too high as they were in need of some new blades and other minor repairs. Thanks for the info.
