Need a little more help guys. I got the tractor split, with your help. The flywheel needs cut, its a 2 step flywheel, I need to know the measurement from the face of wheel to where the pressure plate bolts on. cant seem to find info anywhere.

that's what I though, but I don't know what the people before me did. clutch disk is about 3/4 gone and slips enough that it wont make it up a small grade. last person to work on this may only have ground the face and not the surface for the pressure plate. The only book I have on this tractor only gives basic info.

Well that could be a problem then if someone only did part of it before or if it has been done many many times.

I wonder if a clutch place like hy capacity ? would have any info on that.

Typically, the machine shop will have a booklet printed up by the manufacturer of the flywheel grinder that gives that "spec" for common flywheels.

Check with a couple of local places that grind flywheels and see if anyone has the info handy.

Thank you. found a guy back in the woods, 8 miles of dirt, potholes and 1 crick to cross. he had a stack of old books, took him 5 min to find the spects. did the job while I waited, only charged me 40$, gave him 50$.peferct job. once again thank you, all who responded. nice to know youall are out there.
