tractor ran fine picking up leafs. stopped to dump baskets and after engaging blade tractor died and there is no spark at plugs. i'm thinking it has to be a safety switch. sure would like some help on what to look for. thanks

If the tractor cranks over with the starter, but has no spark, then all you safety switches are fine. Under your dash, right below the hand hold to open the hood, is a black box. It controls spark, and just like the famous time delay modules on older deeres, they go bad. That tractor has a 4 year warranty. If it is still covered then the part will cost nothing. It is held in by 1 bolt with a 10mm head. Drop it out, disconnect the wire harness and replace. The proper test for those is "replace with known good unit." If you are out of warranty, the part will cost you about $60
